Nigerian Wrestling Champion Power Uti Arrested Over His Wife’s Death
Nigerian wrestling champion, Power Uti has reportedly been arrested by the Lagos state police following the controversial death of his wife, Toyin.
The deceased was said to have died in their Lagos home on Monday morning with Power Uti discovering her body, and instead of taking her to the hospital, he went to a church to seek spiritual help.
According to PUNCH, the Police Public Relations Officer, Famous Cole, reportedly confirmed that Power Uti was arrested over the incident and detained at the Ilupeju Police station, adding that he would be transferred to the Criminal Investigative Department, Panti in Lagos on Thursday (today).
The 38-years-old Toyin was a mother of four children who are under the ages of nine, and have been married for 10 years.
