Atleast 32 dead, 13 injured in Deadly Bus crash (see photo)
A bus has crashed into the wall of a tunnel in China, killing at least 36 people and injuring 13, state media report.
The crash occurred in Shaanxi province shortly before midnight Thursday as the bus with a legal carrying capacity of 51 people was on its way to Luoyang, a city in central China, from Chengdu, the capital of the southwestern province of Sichuan.
The front end of the bus was left mangled after it crashed into the wall at the entrance to the tunnel on a four-lane highway, according to photos published.
Rescue work was still under way as the injured people were taken to hospital.
Possible causes of the crash was not given. Deadly road accidents are common in China.
The World Health Organisation estimates that a quarter of a million people were killed on Chinese roads in 2013, the latest year for which figures are available.
