Explosives were left lying on the street. As a precaution, the police evacuated the surrounding homes and closed down the area. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called in. Using a robot, the team examined the explosives and tried to make sure they don’t detonate.

Just before 8:00 a.m. the police said on Twitter that the EOD succeeded in making the explosives safe for transport and that the area will be released as soon as possible. The explosives will be disposed of somewhere else.
