In a bid to enter Europe, a group of migrants were caught hiding under a train near the Germany-Austria border.
About 12 people including 7 adults and 5 minors had traveled under the moving train from the Italian city of Verona to Munich, where they were found by the police at a spot check using heat detection cameras in the southern town of Raubling.
The migrants said they are from Somalia, Nigeria and Ivory Coast, and were only wearing shorts and T-Shirts.
Police spokesman Rainer Scharf said: “They’re freezing cold and in a poor physical state. We have already called the emergency services because we believe some of them are suffering from hypothermia.”
